"We should understand well
that all things are the work of
the Great Spirit.
He is within all things;
the trees, the grasses, the rivers, the mountains,
and all the four-legged animals...
and even more important that
He is also above all these things...
when we do understand...
then we will fear, and love and know
the Great Spirit."

Hello! I'm Mic ~ Glad you're here!
Originally from West "By Gosh" Virginia, I retired from the Army in 2007 as a
Chief Warrant Officer 4 after 30 years of service. The first 16 years were enlisted service;
the following 14 were as a Personnel Warrant Officer.

Retirement was going great! When my husband and I weren't riding our Harleys,
I enjoyed playing in the dirt planting flowers.
I had no plans for a full-time "anything." Life was good!

However, for Christmas 2009, my brother, Mike, thought I would enjoy working
with leather as he did and started me out with some tools and materials.
Skeptically, I began cutting and hammering.

After a "few" orders from Tandy Leather for more tools, hides, dyes and hardware, it didn't
take long until I had filled the garage with leather items I had made; there was no room left to work on any more. My husband then graciously moved my operation to a work place of my own just
two miles from our house (and regained his garage space, work area and a few of his missing tools.)
In 2018, we moved 25 miles north of where we were. I now have a shop four times the size of the previous one and five steps from the house. That's called being in "hog heaven!"
Now that you know a bit about me, I hope to hear from you also.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
Happy hunting, and God bless ~ Mic
