CRACKER CHRISTMAS
Fort Christmas Historical Park
Christmas, FL
3-4 December 2011
All I can say is, "WOW." That was a bunch of people! Last year's attendance was between 20,000 and 22,000. This year on Saturday alone, there were 19,500! Sunday ran a close second to that.
Mike (brother) and Pam (his sweetie) set up beside me. We had a awesome location, display and working environment. Pam is wonderful with the public, and Mike and I normally double-team with on-site orders.
We were so busy that Mike and I didn't even get a chance to walk around and see the other vendors. I know there were Native American dancers, musicians and reenactments going on all day long. It was a great setup for the vendors and the public as well. Two or three vendors were set up side-by-side with 20' - 50' distance between the next small grouping of vendors.
If you didn't get the chance to visit the Cracker Christmas this year, it's held the first weekend in December. Hope to see you there next year!
1. My tent; Mike's was to the left.
2. Mike sporting his Christmas present I made for him. (No ~ I couldn't wait!)
3. and 4. A snake-designed belt Mike and I made together.
MELBOURNE AREA JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB
23rd Crafts, Curios and Collectable Crafts Show
Melbourne Auditorium, Melbourne, FL
17-18 September 2011
It was amazing to see so much talent all in one building at the same time! Beautiful creations were made of wood, soap, glass, clay, cloth, beads, and plaster to only name a few. Many thanks to friends and family for stopping by and especially my friends, Jerry and Joan, for their participation in the fair. It sure was nice to be able to take a break while they covered my booth.
BIKE WEEK - March 2011
Steel Round / Forrest Tavern, Astor, FL
Mike (my brother below) and I wish to thank all who stopped in at our location at the Steel Round. We met many fine folks from near and far, had laughs with long-time buddies and made quite a few new friends who we hope to see again.
Many thanks to Von, Gail and Penny for their support and allowing us to set up shop there.
