POSSIBLES BAG
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
     If you don't know what a possibles bag is, don't feel like the Lone Ranger; I was clueless too.  But after a customer explained it to me, it made perfectly good sense.  You just put things in it that are "possible" you may need....sometime or another.  It's used primarily for reenactment adventures now as the pioneers weren't privy to today's modern satchels (fortunately) with a dozen pockets, zippered compartments or pouches here, there and everywhere.    
     Back then, things were rather simple. "I put it in my possibles bag; that's where it is...always."  Today, I laugh (mostly at my brother) as I watch him do a self pat-down, like he's killing ants all over his body, searching for something in all of his pockets that he probably left on the counter to start with.
      Maybe I should make him a possibles bag for Christmas ~~~   He'd just say, "Wah, what is it?"   Clueless.....

-  When Steve and I discussed the possibilities for a closure, he decided on using two old coins to add to its authenticity.
-   The shoulder strap lacing doubles as a reinforcement and a definite eye-catcher.

                                                    Words can't match what a smile can say.   Now Steve's ready for his next reenactment.
 -   The side flaps fold completely inward covering the top portion of the bag.  This helps things from falling out as well as hinders things, such as                  unwanted critters or the rain, from getting in.
-   The inside has a gathered pocket on the front's back for holding I.D., money and smaller items.

                  $150       Genuine cowhide.  I have several other types of hides available, i.e., coyote, deer, rabbit, skunk (beautiful), stingray, rattlesnake,                                             suede leather and milled vegie tan.  If you prefer some other type, I'll do my best to find it.  Prices vary.
